Women’s Entrepreneurship Satellite Expo 2023 in Tajikistan

The Women’s Entrepreneurship Satellite Expo 2023 in Tajikistan, organized by UN Women in partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, GIZ, FAO, UNDP, PO “Ishtirok”, aims to boost the growth and sustainability of women-led businesses in the country and the region. The event champions gender equality and economic empowerment.

The event primarily aims to showcase existing opportunities and future plans for women, youth, and people with disabilities in the realm of entrepreneurship. It will also seeks to exhibit products and services by Tajik women entrepreneurs, present business ideas, including innovative initiatives in various regions, and address challenges in these areas.

The event will also include:

• Women Entrepreneurs’ products Fair Market at Hyatt Regency in Dushanbe;
• Inspirational talks by successful women entrepreneurs, including recipients of presidential grants).
• Facilitate knowledge exchange among entrepreneurs on business growth, innovation, business transformation, and available sources of funding.
• Enhance the visibility of women entrepreneurs in Tajikistan and the broader region, highlighting their achievements and contributions to the business landscape.

The satellite event in Tajikistan thrives on robust partnerships with government entities, women’s associations, corporate sponsors, educational institutions, and international organizations.
